FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) 1. What is BASUG? BASUG is a local volunteer users group begun to further the interests of users of The SAS System in eastern New England. We are the people who organize and arrange quarterly meetings and special subsidized training... people just like you who seek to provide other SAS users with speakers and presentations in a fabulous setting that will help you in your profession. 2. Why should I be a member? Membership has its privileges! Quarterly meetings and subsidized training classes are for members only. We allow non-members to attend one meeting, so you can see if you'd like to join. If you want to attend additional meetings, you are expected to join, and we rely on the honor system for your cooperation. 3. How do I join? Follow these instructions. 4. How can I help? We are always looking for presentations, someone to assist at meetings, and people to join the steering committee. If you have a paper or presentation you'd like to present, click here and fill the form, and we will contact you after receiving your request. If you'd like to help out at a BASUG meeting or event, click here and fill the form. Again, we will contact you after receiving your request. 5. How I get ON the e-mail list?
