Webinar
Join this webinar to learn how existing SAS®9 programs can be modified to execute in SAS Viya. Code can either run as-is on the Compute server, or it can be modernized to process data in-memory and in parallel on the SAS Cloud Analytic Services (CAS) server. This webinar is perfect for programmers who are new to Viya and addresses the three main questions they are likely to ask. First, what is Viya, and how will it improve my ability to prepare and analyze data? Second, will existing SAS®9 code work in Viya? And third, how must my programs change to take advantage of the new features in Viya?
You will learn:
- The difference between the SAS Viya Compute server and CAS server.
- How to load and manage in-memory data in CAS.
- How to modify existing SAS®9 DATA steps and procedures to process in-memory data in CAS.
