Webinar

In today's data-driven business environment, the significance of data warehouses cannot be overstated. These powerful tools not only consolidate data from diverse sources but also enhance decision-making and strategic planning processes. Dr. Michael Salé, a seasoned expert in information technology management and a dedicated educator at Stonehill College, invites you to delve into the world of data warehousing using SAS. With a career spanning decades in IT management/consulting and a proven track record in leveraging IT systems for strategic advantages, Dr. Salé brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to this session. This webinar is designed to equip participants with the skills to construct a data warehouse by querying data from multiple sources, including databases (using SQL), flat files, and web services. Attendees will be guided through an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process that transforms this diverse data into a star schema, making it easily queryable for end-users. This session will not only cover the technical aspects of building a data warehouse using SAS but will also emphasize the strategic importance of data warehouses in today's competitive business landscape.
